I'm loving how the ps4 handled it, got to preorder and download the game early. I had to wait until release to play of course, but no waiting at all once released.

Just did that for undertale on PS4. I'm really hoping Nintendo implements a preload and pre order function soon into the switch. If the 3ds can do it, why not the switch? It surely can't be that hard to implement...

Bought it a few minutes after midnight, excellent service by Nintendo on that part. Don't care much for pre-orders. Glad I could put in a few levels before heading to bed. Sonic Mania looks and plays awesome.

GREAT game. Controls are fluid, unlike I remember from 1 and 2! Just a few questions...


1) How do you get the "special stage ring" to appear?
2) What happens if you fuck up and miss your chance at the chaos emerald?
2.5) Can you do it again for another chance?

It looks absolutely beautiful on the Switch screen than moreso on a TV. The Nintendo Switch is pretty much the perfect way to play Sonic Mania at home or on the go.

I'll buy the game from the eShop but going to wait and see if there's a deal somewhere so I can save a couple of coins.
