Decent? lol.

Sonic 1 was pretty good, Sonic 2 was amazing, imo. I never got to fully play Sonic 3&K but from what I read it's just as good as Sonic 2 (my fave).

I played Sonic Mania on January 2017 and I loved it although I'm gonna be patient and see if SEGA or any other publisher will release a physical version of the game (maybe Nicalis could).

I think it's because once Super mario World came out, it 'felt more fluid' and I heavily preferred that game, which brought my enjoyment of Sonic 1 and 2 downward. But I think I'll get the game - i'm still hyped.

The only physical game I have is Zelda. i'm getting every other digitally sot hat I can have them all in one place

The beta (had 2 full stages) was solid without any type of flaw whatsoever, well, the only flaw I encountered was playing with the Joy-Con (analogue stick side) which made it hard to do a spindash.

Sounds pretty good though thank you! I play primarily joycon-y. I'm hyped! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I wonder if there will be any "extra content", which they're not telling us of. And hey, I never got all the emeralds in the previous games. In this if you collect them all can you play as Super Sonic?

Don't see why not. Super Sonic is in basically every modern Sonic game.

I'd recommend to play with the Pokkén controller or one of the 8 Bitdo's.

Was he in the first 2 games? When you collected all the emeralds? Then again, Super Sonic was just based on Super Saiyans because the creator was a fan of DBZ and got the OK from Toriyama or whatever his name is...

Yeah, Super Sonic was in Sonic 2.

I don't really wanna double-dip for Sonic Mania (or any game either) but it's at such a good price and the physical release may take months or never. Hm.. decisions.

Yup, seems it went live in the uk/ireland at midnight. Shame I went to sleep at about 11:30 until now lol. Downloading it now, and gonna play a bunch before work.

Ok, I just found out the eShop updates at 9am PST, 12 PM EST. So, no Sonic Mania on Switch for another 11 hours. For fuck sake, @Nintendo!

Guys.. They went back to this style of graphics because of nostalgia.. It's also what the fans have been asking for in a side scrolling game. It's.. Retro.. If you will.. And yes, it has that nostalgic feel to it.

only got to play two worlds until the battery in the proC went flat (hadn't charged in a while) absolutely loved the chemical plant zone! sega should just stick to 2d and forget about 3d sonic
