Sonic 1 through S&K were awesome, CD was "meh", Sonic R was fantastic, Sonic Jam was AMAZING, SA 1 was "meh", SA2 was pretty cool, and anything to come out for a console since then is rubbish. The Advance and Rush games are ok.

Sonic Pocket Adventure is the best handheld Sonic, love that game and how it took the best out of Sonic 2 and added stuff.

Meh the last Sonic game i really fully enjoyed was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube. The Sonic Rush games on the DS are good but not enough 2 keep my attention

the last sonic game that i play and love it is Sonic 1 and 2 in Sega Mega Drive 2...i dont really like other sonic game.

Must try Pocket Adventure sometime; thanks had! Btw, anyone tried Sonic GX yet? Now there's a REAL Sonic game!!

Why have you resurrected an old thread like this?

And there was me thinking someone added something to the topic like the Sonic Riders game doing even worse in Japan.

Ive been a Sonic fan since day one.
A Sega fan from there aswell.
I love their arcades more than their home games though.
Still, everytime I see a new sonic game I consider buying it right off.
I know everything after the dreamcast games is pretty bad, but still, I have to buy it and collect it.
Well, after shadow the hedgehog I kinda kicked that habit.

I love fast paced games and I like it when you run on foot real fast.
So sonic games are innatural for me.
Though every game is rather slow these days.
I know the GBA games and NDS games have been said to be good, but I find them overall slow :/
The level design is so blocky. WEll, mostly in rush. the Advance games where a bit better but sonic moved so slow and some power ups were badly placed.
Plus what the hell happend to collecting fifty rings and goinng to a bonus stage? That was good stuff.

Eh, if the Sonic series goes down for good, then it goes down.
Though its been Sega's image for so long, they cant just drop it.

These other new games arent too bad, so while they rake in a bit of cash, maybe they'll work on getting the next sonic game right for once.
I wouldnt hold my breath though.

Atleast we know the RPG game wont be too bad.
Though I see it as being another slow game...
Slow does not equal good in a sonic game in anyway.
Maybe an ok one atleast....
