I was given vortioxetine for ADHD and anxiety/depression and while it did fuck all for the ADHD, it really helped with anxiety and the OCD-ish tendencies that come with it.

I take Vyvanse for ADHD and it helps tremendously, but ironically it makes me more likely to be more bothered by stuff like the lamp switch, which is contradictory but like, it isn't really making me obsessed by stuff more, just kind of meticulous about everything in general.

Unless of course being kind of a messy clean freak in general is also related, to this I simply shrug it off because it is not really problematic for me, I just get kind of impatient when I am in the middle of something and get interrupted for silly reasons, but I am sure that's just normal at this point lol

[Edit] also I am technically off from it since last week and waiting for a prescription renewal and man I can say I have no idea how I even lived without that for so long, I'm just glad I quit drinking alcohol for over 4 years at this point because clearly it was a coping mechanism back before getting treated properly.

I can only get Concerta around here and it's not really doing much. I would like to try Vyvanse but alas.

It's possible that the same mechanism that makes you more focused also makes you obsess more over details. I guess it's a tradeoff.

I think it's a fair compromise, I actually am perfectly fine with that.
