Hey all,

Apologies if this has been asked already, I tried searching but I couldn't find anything.

I've updated to the latest firmware / atmosphere / patches and so on... and everything seemed fine, until I spotted the issue below - this is how I can, sometimes, replicate it.

1. Switch the console on
2. Run a game, all good
3. Exit game
4. Open the gallery
5. Run a homebrew (tried DBI and nxshell)
6. Press the home button to exit
7. Run a game

At this point the screen stars blinking with the system popup message "please wait" and the "OK" button. This is the same popup message that appears after you select select a user and before the screen turns black with the switch logo on the bottom.

This message pops on and off constantly, and the only way I could make it stop is to press the home button and restart the console.

Did anybody experienced the same issue?

Same problem here, only appears when is connected to the internet, airplane mode is ok. I don't know the reason why this happens.

I'm glad! I thought that using a translated DBI was actually messing thing up!

Replace this config with the one inside the atmosphere folder and reboot your system https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1O0z1Tsl0u85Hi3TjJL_IFKIo2SCXsiMp?usp=share_link
Thank you.

These are the differences between the file that your shared and the default one:
Code:
[usb]
usb30_force_enabled = u8!0x1

[atmosphere]
dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0
dmnt_always_save_cheat_toggles = u8!0x1
enable_dns_mitm = u8!0x1
add_defaults_to_dns_hosts = u8!0x1
enable_external_bluetooth_db = u8!0x1

[ns.notification]
enable_download_task_list = u8!0x0
enable_download_ticket = u8!0x0
enable_network_update = u8!0x0
enable_random_wait = u8!0x0
enable_request_on_cold_boot = u8!0x0
enable_send_rights_usage_status_request = u8!0x0
enable_sync_elicense_request = u8!0x0
enable_version_list = u8!0x0
retry_interval_min = u32!0x7FFFFFFF
retry_interval_max = u32!0x7FFFFFFF
version_list_waiting_limit_bias = u32!0x7FFFFFFF
version_list_waiting_limit_min = u32!0x7FFFFFFF

[olsc]

enable_olsc_communication_block = u8!0x1
default_auto_download_global_setting = u8!0x0
default_auto_upload_global_setting = u8!0x0

I don't know what most of these options do! Do you happen to know which one is the culprit?

Edit:

I just tried with these settings and the issue occurs anyway.

It's the issue with fake linking that was not properly done for newer FWs to properly interpret it.
Either update sys-patch to newest release (it had multiple 1.5.9 releases, just install it again)
https://github.com/impeeza/sys-patch/releases
or use this modded linkalho and link account again:

Thank you for your reply.

I'm actually using the latest sigpatches from the thread on this forum. I've never used sys-patches before.

I did use linkaho though, a long long time ago, so it might indeed be culprit.

I'll try with the linkaho mod tomorrow first - I'm curious to see if the issue goes away even if I stick with sigpatches - and then I will also try a fresh installation of atmosphere + sys-patches.

Will report my findings!

I just re-linked all the accounts with Linkaho mod above - whilst keeping the sigpatches - and it worked. Thank you so much!

I'm going to stick with sigpatches for now, I don't really see the value of swapping from sigpatches to sys-patches if everything is working, unless I'm missing something?
