Homebrew Homebrew app sys-patch - sysmod that patches on boot

your question fails to understand why there should be a patch.

the same reason the nim patch exists, to be able to spread a workaround to crashes/unwanted behaviour, without the user actively needing to run a homebrew remedy their issue, which will only last until the next time they have to delete their atmosphere folder.

its for usage, for the masses, who do not read gbatemp, or speak english, who needs their own communities to translate instructions, make new videos.

just having it be bundled with regular patches and/or sys-patch makes things easier for the larger population of users, to be reached with a fix that doesn't require them to do something new.

it helps unclog support channels.

anyway:

to: 0x84F44, e9 03 1f 2a - mov w9, wzrView attachment 540337

I see... Just one Last question.

Do we need a fake linked account with your patch?

I'll give a try tonight

a real one, fake one, doesn't matter.

for testing reasons, there shouldn't be an [olsc] section in /atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini

an improper format linkalho account is what this even """""fixes"""""" anyway (the linkalho """fix""" above does not address linkalho linking improper format accounts, it just masks it with lines in system_settings.ini)

(and the patch itself is only 21.0.0, for now)

too bad then, the .dat the actual information is read from is read from a system savefile .dat (as you can turn off upload/download of savegames through official settings) while most other olsc functions have their values read from the exefs itself.

Don't worry about it!!! We still can edit the config.ini

But the source code seems to be a bit different, because it does not write the entry [olsc] default_auto_upload_global_setting = u8!0x0 into the config.

So according to the ovl, there's an "old" and "new" nim patch. Do I need both or just new? (if I need either at all).

EDIT: also, I'm getting the connect to internet crash again. Doesn't happen if I DNS spoof, but it does when I auto obtain DNS

When you enable Airplane mode, it still lets you enable Bluetooth manually afterwards to continue using wireless devices. Does that not work for you? Just curious.
Thanks for the response. I did not notice that I can manually enable Bluetooth mode with the Airplane mode enabled. And yes, it works as you have stated.

This actually works in fixing the looping issue in FW 21.0.0.

Rayman legends crash without error code.
