Hello everyone,

Yesterday I was installing Batman Arkham Night on my Switch with DBI, and after a while installing, it stopped and gave me a "Transfer aborted" error.
I tried again and the same error occurred at another point in the transfer. On the third attempt, the game was successful.
The game is 8MB and the update is about 27GB.

I haven't had any transfer issues with DBI until now, although I must say I haven't regularly installed such "heavy" games.

The console's firmware is 20.5.0 and Atmosphere is 1.9.5.
DBI v810 Spanish translation.
The Switch is an OLED with picofly.

Podría ser la conexión física entonces. ¿Quizás una instalación LAN habría funcionado?
I install with DBI and MTP Responder. The same of all the games. But this one, maybe for the 27GB I can't install in the first attempt

Now I want to transfer another game (14 GB), and the problem persists on the first attempt. After a few minutes, "Transfer canceled" appears. On the second attempt, I can install it without any problems. It's a random error.

what connection type is the switch connected to the pc?

Okay, it's not as big at ~22GB but I installed a game flawlessly with DBI moments ago, with OpenMTP.

Use dbi backend or FTP. Windows mtp is awful. There are ways around the timeout but it's not perfect

I continue my battle with DBI and USB 3.0...
I've tried different packs with Atmosphere and Hekate in case the problem is coming from my .config files or something unrelated to DBI.
I've also tried different versions of DBI and different versions of NBA... 2K26, 2K24... and the result is that the transfer is interrupted with USB 3.0.
If I modify the settings and disable USB 3.0, the game copies perfectly.
The last test would be to change the cable, but I'm sure that's not the problem because I've tried copying several games with more than 50GB in one go and it doesn't fail.
It only happens to me with NBA games...
I attach two screenshots: with v810 and with v658

Try running dbi in title override mode (hold r while launching game) - it should have black background. Applet mode has quite limited accessible ram - which might be issue for large transfers.

I've already tried it and the result is the same.

Okay. Keep using the title override mode, as that should rule out memory related errors. You may try experimenting with dbi settings - some are only configurable through manual config editing.

I would try toggling ReportAndroidExtension - I believe this has inverted logic in 810. Than there should be several buffer and timeout related options, so try playing with their values.

You may try different usb port, preferably directly connect to laptop / motherboard, without using any hubs in between.

Last resort is using dbibackend instead of mtp, which should have better compatibility.

After 810, there were couple of mtp related fixes in the changelog. So 810 might be simply incompatible with your configuration.
