Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share a simple idea with the community. Since playing Smash 3DS via emulation can be laggy on mid-range phones, I was thinking it would be awesome if a developer ever decided to attempt a small-scope Proof-of-Concept Port based strictly on the 2014 Smash 3DS Demo.
Scope: Core engine, 4 characters (Mario, Link, Pikachu, Mega Man), and Battlefield stage.
Goal: A lightweight native ARM build that runs at a smooth 60 FPS for everyone.
I don't know how to code, but I have the Demo file ready if any dev ever wants to check it out. Just sharing this dream with fellow fans! What do you think?

What does this have to do with 3DS development..? There's no way to magically make a 3DS game run on Android, even if it's a "Demo file".

I'm sure by now someone somewhere has released a game for Android that vaguely resembles Smash Bros.

Other than emulating the demo file, you'll need to decompile and then recompile it which no one is gonna do for a demo. Maybe the actual game, but that probably won't happen until someone either really wants to do it, or eventually has an ai able to do all the tedious work.

You have a better chance of someone making a clone( e.g. Melee Light ) and compiling it for your chosen platform.
