I installed CBHC on my Wii U back in autumn of 2017, and I haven't touched my console in a while.
Since I recently got into rhythm games I wanted to try out Taiko for the Wii U, so I downloaded it from the USB Helper and when I went over to run the WUP Installer my console gave me an error telling me that it had to shut down, and for some reason, the anti-update thingy I had set up (the one that set your console to ver. 99.99.99 so updates wouldn't be installed) has been reverted and it's now updated to 5.5.3 (keep in mind I installed CBHC when the console was in 5.5.2 IIRC). I can't run any homebrew applications but all the games I had installed are still up and running, but the strangest thing of all is that the "DO NOT TOUCH" app associated to CBHC is still there, that's why I'm skeptical towards doing anything CFW related to my console before asking for what to do on people that know more than me, since I don't want to risk a brick.
Any advice on what I should do?

Just follow the CBHC installation again:
Test if Haxchi works, then install CBHC again.
You can somply overwrite the old one.

Will I need another DS game for this or can I just use the one I used for the original installation?
