Just saw this on my twitter feed. I guess this will require a USB C to micro USB cable, rather than the traditional cable you get.

Those are rare. Just get an otg adapter or a phone with type c and a type c to type c cable

My only way of using fusée gelée at this point is dock USB to micro-usb on android, and it looks like that might be possible

There is a small chance it will work on non-rooted devices too, stay tuned (But don't get your hopes up *too* much)

90% sure that Android can't support such USB interfaces without root, and even if it that was the case you will need a unlocked bootloader to flash a patched kernel (at that point there is no reason not have a rooted device)

You need it in Linux hence the "sudo" when running the payload.
