Hacking Some scene news...CSSM

Well, according to Forsaeken, a "prelude" and the dashboard are coming out February. I would say that it would be mostly stable, but not fully finished (ie it works, but does not have all the features yet)

In response to the questions about menu skinability... I actually have a plan to make this work, however haven't had a chance to go over it with fors and get his input yet..... BUT I am fairly confident that i can make it so skinning the menu is as simple as clicking a few selections inside CSSM... I'll give a few more details once i talk to fors.

any way, i was not telling you off, i was just trying to say that you really have to wait and see cuz what just might happend is the fw 3.5 comes out before fors comes out with is CSSM so no one can say for sure what will append then.
hope you can understand what i'm saying now, if you what ill use more words...

ps: if you notice i was talking before about changes in the wii and something else and not about instalation

hey forsaekn nice to see your back and some new updates. i was just wondering do you have a work around with riiskimod v2 with preloader v.27 because i have that installed or do i have to virginize my wii?

robiul... as the wii is now NO, however with some modifications im working on YES

This will install over anything you currently have from the explanation i've been given by fors, so no need to upgrade or downgrade... To the person who said simple batch file... takes far more than that to safely institute the menu changes/skins into dashboard etc. We have to completely rewrite the app installers as we want it to be automatic, no user intervention other than selecting the skin they want from the screen shot library.

ooo and by the way, hows that 512 flash memory installation going to work? how much space is the 4 menus installation going to take from the wii internal flash memory?

lol batch files...the good ole' days.

EDIT: you dont need to install 4, just install one if you want. I made the limit 4 just incase people were feelin crazy and wanted 4 different menus. each sym compressed is like...i dunno, 25-28mb? so 4 of them will take over 1/5 of your NAND. not taking into account all the wads and such people have been installing, plus savegames...

It was just easier to limit it to 4 slots.

If not can someone please PM me telling me how to make my own health screen? I know how to open stuff up etc, ive made channel banner etc. but i dont know how to change the health.ash to a health.ash.arc

thats a very good idea, but i think that fors a DD as that in mind or i hope so...
