A beefier system wouldn't hurt when ps4\x720 will comes two years later.

you do realize that consoles have pretty much reached their limit to how powerful and better the gfx can be at the moment? the ps4/720 won't be that much different than what they are now.

Why is that? I thought some people said consoles are way behind in gfx vs a computer?


I'm sure Sony can built a better and bigger computer ps3.

If the wii 2 comes near ps3 or little more gfx, it fine. We don't even need heavier gfx.

They are getting to that point. Duke Nukem Forever and Metro: 2033 are good examples of how much consoles are starting to lag behind the PC for visuals, they can't render as well as the DirectX 11 hardware based computers can because they don't have the graphics processing design for it, they are essentially DirectX 9 based GPU's.
