i have never seen any news about soma bringer being released in english. bangbanger can you provide the link where ign and the other sites say that its going to be released in english? if not then its hard to believe...

If I knew that, I'd already be done with it. Don't ask for updates.

A big chunk of that is where I still need native speakers to look at the lines I wasn't sure about... I have to re-upload that list since ScribbleWiki went under.

Hey.. that actually makes sense!! Most likely they have found this thread and saw that the patch is already 96% complete!! Thus they think that the patch would be released by this year thus putting TBA 2008 and 31 December 2008

Ya i agree with the guy above me. Darth they're probably going to steal your translation patch and put it into a cart and take all the credit. I have a feeling that this is going to happen because in gamespot forum people talk about the translation patch and flash cards in the somabringer forum and none of them get banned or anything which is what I think.

Darth's been a contributor to GFAQs and various other little projects as well. It's unsurprising, even obvious, that his repertoire extends beyond this project.

Translation is THE BEST! DarthNemesis, personally I think you can abandon it now (its already excellent, don't waste your time on this). The translation is superb. If I showed it to someone who didn't know it was patched, they would never know. Honestly, you belong with the best of the best!

Although the translation is nearly complete, there is still a lot to do. The team still needs to complete it, and then "clean" it.
