Yeah, it's great for the PC, but it's not open source (at least it wasn't years ago when I last played it).

I doubt it'll be ported to the DS and I doubt we'll ever see a game like it on the DS, it's too violent and the controls would be a bit iffy.

just in case you know FPS stands for First Person shooter as in a first peron perspective which soldat hasn't got...

But yea, it would be fun

Well not really. The game has simple controls and touchscreen aiming would rock. I could see it as being a viable DS game lol. Violence is good.

Too bad it aint gonna happen [IMG]

I hate how Nintendo cares about violence so much.

Yes! Stop getting our hopes up and then shattering them! You inhuman [IMG]

Anyway, a port won't be possible, but a remake might be. And the game would rock. The PC version is great. Even single-player. And just imagine multiplayer... *drools*

Let's spam the author of Soldat with requests that he make a DS version [IMG]

Id seriously pay for this. Someone organize a petition of people willing to pay for a DS port and who knows what could happen..

Well, if enough people sign up, and probably pay in advance, he might just make a DS version. No use in working your ass off developing a game if you won't get paid.
