Possibly one of the funnest simplest multiplayer 2Dfps games on pc, i think someone whould port it to DS.
anyone else played it? if so i will continue this duscussion.

Yeah, it's great for the PC, but it's not open source (at least it wasn't years ago when I last played it).

I doubt it'll be ported to the DS and I doubt we'll ever see a game like it on the DS, it's too violent and the controls would be a bit iffy.
 
just in case you know FPS stands for First Person shooter as in a first peron perspective which soldat hasn't got...


But yea, it would be fun

Well not really. The game has simple controls and touchscreen aiming would rock. I could see it as being a viable DS game lol. Violence is good.

Anyway, a port won't be possible, but a remake might be. And the game would rock. The PC version is great. Even single-player. And just imagine multiplayer... *drools*

Let's spam the author of Soldat with requests that he make a DS version

Id seriously pay for this. Someone organize a petition of people willing to pay for a DS port and who knows what could happen..
 
Well, if enough people sign up, and probably pay in advance, he might just make a DS version. No use in working your ass off developing a game if you won't get paid.
