This week’s Dengeki PlayStation magazine reveals one of the games Imageepoch will talk about during their presentation on Wednesday:Sol Trigger for the PSP.

Some of our readers may recall that we originally came across the name Sol Trigger through a trademark that Imageepoch filed for it last year.

My Game News Flash reports that Sol Trigger is a role-playing game with Kazushige Nojima working on the scenario and Shuji Sogabe providing character designs. Nojima is, of course, rather well known as the scenario writer for several Final Fantasy games. Sogabe has worked on the Persona 3 and Persona 4 manga series, as well as on the Senko no Ronde series.

I don't think it will ever leave Japan, it's just too late in the PSP's life. Valkyria Chronicles 3 didn't leave Japan, Suikoden:The Woven Web of a Century probably won't either. So this has little hope of being localized.

Valkyria Chronicles 3 didn't get localized because SEGA is scared of pirates, Suikoden lmfao, you're having a laugh.

Every company is scared of pirates, that's why some game companies are done with the PSP. Take a look at NISA. Makai Kingdom Portable should have been a game that definitely would be brought over, now it's up in the air.

I'm looking at NISA and all I see is them localizing Black Rock Shooter.

Plus Makai Kingdom has already been released for PS2 so you're not missing much

Official site with trailer, the female main looks very hot, I hope a digital version is announced or a UMD passport version.

Other information from the NicoNico Q&A

  • The game won't ship with a figure, but will have pre-order bonuses
  • Mikage wouldn't say how long the game has been in development, but said it has been in the works for a long time.
  • The game will have normal and easy modes of difficulty. The Sol-based mechanics will be particularly important in normal difficulty.
  • Mikage would not say what platform Imageepoch will be supporting after PSP. At the very end of the broadcast, though, he said that he gets the feeling they're making lots of games for Vita, PS3 and 3DS.
