Hacking Softmod newbie

Hi everyone!

i just want to know what is the best softmod software to use. Do i have to purchase the consoleunlock or the brewii or something else.

Is there existing a open source software to do it?

the fastest and easiest way is with the NUS Auto Down loader, found on this site .....by far the easiest hack ive used out of 21 wii's ive hacked for friends and family
