I keep the roms at a certain folder in my computer, if I ever would like to play the game again.

I keep all the roms archived in a folder and backup the saves. This way I don't have to redownload them later if I ever want to play them again.

My friends came over today and they all told me what they do, 3 of them keep both the rom and the save and 2 of them keep the save only.

those who dont save the rom will be sorry when al gore discontinues the internet.

I have copies of every rom I've downloaded on my computer, so when I finish a game I just copy the save onto the computer and delete the game off my card.

same.

why? two reasons. if i ever wanna play it again, i can.

if somehow, magically, every rom on the internet was wiped out, i would still have alot of old games to keep me bsy for a while.

I store a copy of every single DS game on DVD as a back-up (will post a picture tonight) keep the saves organised on my HDD (as they are only small)

but the Roms are taking up nearly 20 DVD's

I used to think that external HDD were also the best solution until I accidently pulled a cable out as it was moving files. Corrupted a ton of files but luckily they were all on DVDs.

Lesson? Make backups of a backup
