In fact, I quickly tried F-Zero and didn't notice a huge difference. But I admit I'm not very concerned cause using mainly the classic controller.

As I already said, I'm not using the latest devkit/libogc since I have an old linux. So yes these errors are normal, it's before the posix standard files operations, it should be devkit r22 and libogc 1.8.6. It's opendir, closedir and so on now.
If you want to go on with this little project, you're really welcome. :D To be honest, I don't have much interest in it now. Maybe, it would be time for Tantric to implement a cover feature (the way he wants, and for sure he could do a great job like he's done since the beginning).

@[member='Wiimpathy']: Thank you SOOOO much for these awesome updates man. You're a great guy and thank you for your most valuable contribution to the Wii modding community. I, for one, value very highly what you've done. Thanks :)

Many Thanks Wiimpathy! These are working great, just tried them out (I'm using the Ios58 versions). The update elimated my "saving settings" problem with snes9xgx :) You sir, are the man!!

no. not in normal emu snes9x gx version.
only problem in cover mod snes9x gx version . sorry about my english. so what i mean is , turn off the cover mod in option menu. in scroll normal menu, when i use classic controller
after select game and exit to the game select menu , i can select game after scroll down or up with d-pad button . game is just cannot be selected with classic controller.

Try pressing "B" button, to return the focus to the game list and then you should be able to scroll the list.

By the way, Wiimpathy:
All problems are now solved from me.
Thank you very much for these terrific releases!

i just use the mote to select a diff game cover or not than i switch back to cube controller after it's started.
You can do that too. If you want to stick to GCN or Classic controller, pressing "B" switches between game list and the buttons at the bottom. On the settings screens, you simply move the pad up and down to press the different buttons. It is not immediately intuitive and I sometimes forget when I haven't opened the emulator in many months.

Fceugx and snes9xgx works good, i not use cover mod but have upgrades from lastest versions with cios202 compatibility, input works good in my case: i use psx controller with gc coverter huskee

very thanks for your work wiiempathy

Cover Set Update!

Update 03-11-12: Added an SNES 3D Cartridge Set, and an NES 2D Cartridge Set. Also added links to preview all of the files on Photobucket.

Update 03-07-12: Updated snes9xgx sets (Added some Covers). The 2D set was mostly replaced by a more vibrant set and looks a little more alive. See spoiler for example.

New 2D Set

Update 03-05-12: Updated all fceugx cover sets.

Update 03-03-12: Soo.... I've been updating my VbaGX Coversets. Have not only added to them, but have fixed the perspective on the 3D covers to display the proper aspect ration instead of bieng stretched. From here on out, everything will be of the proper aspect ratio. See the spoiler below to see what I'm talking about. I also adjusted and updated the Snes9xGx Cart Covers. Although they weren't off much being stretched, the corrected aspect ration definately makes a difference.

Stretched: Prior Sets

Proper Aspect Ratio: Current Sets
007-EverythingorNothingUM3.png

Also, I've added GBC and GBA cartridge sets! GB set will be coming in the next few weeks.

And FYI, the newer sets are named to my roms, sorry.. but not really, because the majority of the covers (especially GBA) needed to be renamed to not exceed the character limit anyways, so if you name your roms to match these covers, you'll be all good and everything will display correctly.

Oh man, how cool it would be if those worked for me. I replaced all my functioning cover art with the nes & snes 3d cover art you have there and now all I get are the generic "no art" images for all the boxes. :(

Dont know if it matters but I am using the 202 version here of both nes & snes emulators.

Did you match up the title names? They all work great for me, and this is the first time i've ever heard about them not working for someone.. I've set these up on probably 10 mods with no problems. i'd suggest checking your setup if the names are correct. Maybe you have them in a subfolder or something?

Wow! You hit the nail on the head. I haven't checked my roms yet but the working 2d covers all have the corresponding country in the file names like (USA) etc. etc. and the 3d ones you posted are just the rom titles. I am thinking it will be less time consuming for me to rename the 3d ones rather than my roms + my 2d covers. Maybe.

Thanks for your help, I will sleep easier knowing what must be done now. :) Thank you.

No problem man!
To make things easy, d/l a program called fuzzy rename, it's awesome for renaming roms/images, and very simple to use. I think there's a link to it in this thread somewhere :) Majority of my newer sets are posted with the (USA, Europe) included, whereas the first ones i posted weren't..
