exactly what it says on the tin.
awsome! downloading now!
Time to boot up some Super Metroid!
Hah, damn. You beat me to it.
Hmm, well it doesn't play nearly as smoothly as I had noped, and there's no frameskip options or controls like in NDSGBA...
It is however, a lot more accurate, for one it can pass the SNES Test program.
Edit: Tried playing the intro stage of Megaman 7. The frameskip got so bad that it became unplayable.
I'm not impressed, this is clearly isn't optimised emulation at all.
Still, since they're open-sourcing this, maybe people will be able to make this much better.
Did you set the frequency to 4?
Yeah I set the frequency to 4.
I just tried the intro to Super Metroid, and well, it played much smoother and faster on SNEmulDS, I could actually see what was going on.
NDSSFC skipped so many frames it became unenjoyable.
I'm sorely disappointed really, this SNES emu is far from optimised like SNEmulDS was.
Thinking about it really, Team Supercard didn't make the GBA emulator, Darkchen did, and it was good.
Team Supercard appear to have made this SNES emulator themselves and it's not doing nearly as well as it should do, considering it's not as powerful as a GBA.
Well, I guess maybe this feature was a disappointment but the DStwo has still been great everywhere else!
Sigh no high res support. Hopefully someone will be able to add support once it goes open source.
both topics were posted simultaneously, but Signz's was more informative so lets close this one.
