Homebrew SNEmulDS issues

I've got a Supercard DS and every time I try to play Chrono Trigger, Brutal Mario and other games over 4 mb, it gives me a load error and it sticks at a white screen.

I've got an original DS, what can I do to get them to play?

Which version of SNEmulDS? And do you have anything inserted into slot-2 at the same time?

Have you tried launching it from the DSTT menu instead?
