I agree, even by commenting out #undef DEBUG in main.c files for FS and ES, it looks like the game stops
at the same place of DIP module (but now with more information like FFS IOS_Read etc)

I've been out of the wii scene for a little while now, but I want to get caught up on some reading. I haven't really messed with SNEEK since it's original release. So, can someone point me toward an explanation of what SNEEK+DI is, how it's different than SNEEK, and what it does. Or do I have to read through all 170 something pages of this thread?

hope not. much thanks.

Very short: SNEEK is basically a way to run game-discs using a virtual Wii system which runs from your Wii SD-Card or USB drive. When SNEEK is compiled with the DI module, you can run games stored on a USB harddrive.

To add on to this explanation: You can't mix a USB NAND and USB disk loading, however[without either A) using an old version called PUNEEK, or B) waiting for future updates which might add it]. So you can either A): Run your Wii off your SD card, and play games through USB/disks, B) Run your Wii off your USB and play games through disks.

He guys, I think I've been reading every message in this thread, but I still am not able to run sneek or uneek. I have bootmii installed and it is working OK. I can compile sneek on my PC just fine (only the odd compiler warnings) but with the compiled results if i put them on a sd card I can't get sneek to run. Also the if I use Sneekinstaller every thing goes fine, but if I put the sd card in my Wii running 4.2E nothing happens, no video no boot. I have all the tools installed I have a gba console in slot 1. So can anyone give me a psuh in the right direction on what I might be doing wrong? Big Thanks for you help.

How long are you waiting for it to boot? It can take up to 10 to 20 minutes for it to boot the first time if you're using a virgin NAND with nothing on it except the System menu and IOSes.

i know it CAN take that long, but mine was booted in about 2 minutes, maybe less. it seemed about that long. i would assume it has to do with sd speed...im not a sneek expert but thats my guess. the update to get all the ios's from ninty's server however, took VERY long. like 30-40 minutes. but from compilation of necessary files to booting system menu was only like 10 minutes. using a virgin nand.

Um, since your using uneek with the nand from the USB, I believe you should have full SD compatibility, but using data management to transfer channels always just transfers it encrypted in the "private" folder structure. You won't be able to easily copy it to another NAND if that's what you wanted to do; you'd have to go through the data management on the same wii to get it back I believe.

Well tonight I'm going to try again, I think i waited at least 10 minutes, 20 maybe not. I'll time it this time. Thanks for the suggestions.
