I rate the smile in the still image in the trailer 4/10 Wednesday Addams. Not going to click.
Based on the thumbnail I could have sworn I saw that movie years ago, but then I remembered that movie was "Truth or Dare."
That and the succubus/harpy thing from "V/H/S".
Anyway, creepy supernatural smile trope is creepy.
But does it have enough push/pull to hold up an entire movie?
"It Follows" was acclaimed, so "creepy supernatural thing following the protagonist" has potential, ditto "invasion of the (smiling) body snatchers", but films like these too often fall apart in the middle, right after they discover the source (usually a demonic possession) and the movie stops being creepy and becomes a scramble to exorcise the demon or break the curse or whatever.

Welp, they showed all the jump scares in the trailer already.
And it looks like it follows the usual formula so no surprises there. Intriguing idea, good initial buildup, run out of steam at the halfway point, the rest of the movie is padding.
Initial reviews are good.

although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)

@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.

If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.

and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
