Homebrew Smealum hints at Ninjhax update?

Wow, ninjhax 2.0 seems so much better but just lacks compatibly of some apps, does anyone think it would be a possibility to have a Ninjhax 2.5 that lets apps that use kernel exploits work?

Well, I don't think we'd need another revision. Just people need to find a way to break out of userland. If we can't have Kernel, Ninjhax 2.0 still suplies quite a bit in terms. If we find another exploit to call am services (rumors are going around that you can in 2.0 because of the aminit() being added in recently) we can possibly downgrade or something.

According to this tweet, the exploit will be able to update when nintendo updates.... SURVIVAL MODE !!! JUST LIKE SUPERUSER!! It will survive nintendo updates.

CN would still be needed for the initial install though. But it's funny how the work of one man has influenced the price of Cubic Ninja over the years.

It just means time, no matter how long, and either way, Cubic Ninja's price went up so fast.

yes,
hopefully this means that we will get an kernel exploit to use for ninjhax 2.0 (*to use FBI/Pasta/Rxtools etc)
and that arm9 hombrews will function properly.

(Well, currently in ninjhax 2.0 build they don't work because of locked/limited user access, but if they can somehow be hacked/unlocked then they will work)
even now they could work in the current NH2.0, just can't work because of arm9 lock.

FYI there *are* some requirements for the persistent exploit; they'll be announced later this week. won't need to pay anything.

I hope eshop doesn't lag/crash like it did when pokemon games get released.

Then again he did say to a guy not to update to the latest FW until he announces it so it seems it may not be eShop related after all. All in all I really hope this ends up to get elevated for them to retrieve those 9.6 crypto keys
