Gaming Smash Bros.. update for it?

i am on 5.1.0 , do i need to update to 6.2 to install this update? or can i just update atmosphere and install the update?

Okay I updated., played online 2 matches and it was amazing.

First game was a 4 link battle, blue team we won.
Second game was a free for all, it came down to me vs this other guy at the end. Very nerve wracking, I was link, he was some new character hwo had a ridiculous smash range i didnt know about. I was 1 stock up, got caught in it sadly. Then 1v1 life, I controlled the battle field with space (bows/bombs/boomerang) and went in for the kill.

Also I forgot how ridiculous ness backthrow is. Just unlocked him, went to play someone and man that backthrow is incredible in a 1v1 battle if ur down to 1 stock. almost guaranteed to ko.

There is a patched version of the update that works on lower firmwares but if its the raw update, you need to be on firmware 6.2 to install it.
