The person that claimed this has no proof, why should I need to proof sth that never had any proof to begin with?I don't see why they would lie. Do you have any proof they did? If not it's just your word against theirs and I'm not inclined to believe your word over theirs just because you said it's not true.
More than one person has gotten unbanned. Someone in this thread said they got unbanned. I helped people on reddit and they also got unbanned. The mig issues are fairly widespread. The person that claimed this has no proof, why should I need to proof sth that never had any proof to begin with?
There are enough people that spread fake news, positive or negative is irrelevant to them. Why should they lie? There are many reasons, e.g. attention seeking, being a die-hard fan of Nintendo trying to put a better light on the company after the bricking and MIG bans on the Switch 2 being talked about publicly quite a lot, etc...
As long as there's no credible proof which was asked for multiple times in the original post, the post was a lie. It shouldn't be that hard to show the text conversation between Nintendo and his console being banned/unbanned.

You mention having backed up your saves via homebrew. This includes games that go online, right? And were these saves being backed up to the cloud automatically? This may be important, because if so, can you recall if there was ever a time. maybe recently, where you "restored" an older save that could have conflicted with the cloud backup?I was using homebrew apps such as JKSV to back up my saves since 2022 so I doubt it can cause bans as I was also able to go online in 2025.
And I read on Reddit and here that people got banned for 2nd hand games as some other people made copies for flash cart before them but Nintendo unbanned them as it's not their fault.
I was replying to you saying that ALL homebrew gets you banned, when that isn't the case.He mentioned he plays online games.
