Skyline (Android Nintendo Switch emulator) successfully boots first commercial game

Skyline, an open-source, experimental and work-in-progress Nintendo Switch emulator that runs on ARMv8 Android devices, has successfully booted its first commercial game.

Using some temporary hacks, the team managed to get Sonic Mania up and running with working on-screen controls, as shown in the screenshot below.

Please note that the above mentioned build is currently private and not yet available to the public. The team have stated that once the necessary hacks that were temporarily added in order for the game to boot are correctly implemented into the Skyline emulator, that the build will be publicly available on the projects Github page which is linked below.

Wait until Qualcomm releases their new line of SoCs this year, then Switch emulation on Android will truly start to become a reality
Remember you are just emulating the software, but the hardware is pretty the same (ARM). You don't need a great performing SoC to emulate a customized nVidia Tegra SoC..
