Hacking SKY3DS NINJHAX Error

okay so i own both SKY3DS and Cubic ninja. it works fine with my actual cartridge of cubic ninja but with SKY3DS it doesnt work. (neither works on my N3DS however)

ive been trying to research for a couple hours now and i came across some .SAV files for cubic ninja sky3ds 9.2 so it would be perfect if i could put the save file in SKY3ds but i dont know how.

so can anyone help with this error or help me get this save on my SKy3ds?

its not launching NINJHAX when my cartridge does. HOWEVER, even the cartridge gives me the "error has occured, system will reboot" (paraphrased) on my N3DSxl but not my O3dsXL

so if i can get help with this it would be awesome

You need to change the payload. The O3DS and N3DS are different. Go back to the ninjahax site and scan the correct QR code.

why do you say that like its obvious i didnt already? chances are im not retarded and used the correct payload. considering ive done this many times.

They did. You're just not happy with the answer you were given. However, the problem in >99.9% of cases is an incorrect payload or the save file wasn't wiped before switching payload. You'll have to find someone who had your exact problem and found a fix.

1-check if your wifi is on
2-check if you have a boot.3dsx
3-check if the boot.3dsx is the one hosted on smea's page
4-check if the qr code matches your region and firmware version
(IF not delete the cubic ninja's save data by pressing L+R+X+Y on the Main Menu

Hold L+R+X+Y at the games menu and delete the save and then use "discwriter" right click cubic ninja and hit "restore save" browse for the save file. and do that 2 times just to insure it copied. the rest I think you know how to do. just keep trying if it doesn't work delete save and try again.

I have never had an error however I have had the ninjhax not complete loading and it would boot me to the homemenu without applying the kernelhax. so I had to delete the save file and try again about 4 times until it properly started to work again.

PS. let's keep it calm and friendly you asked a question. others just need to ask their questions about your issue to fully understand what's happening. it's part of troubleshooting.

Sounds to me you don't have the homebrew starter kit on your 3DS's SD card (not your Sky3DS's). Go to http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2 and download the starter kit from there. Also you haven't clearly stated what firmware you're on.

nobody asked me any questions if im not mistaken. thank you for telling me how to restore a single save, i did it and it works on 9.2 which is great but now i need it to work on 10.7 if possible. all i need is an O3DS .sav file for 10.7 cubic ninja or some way to get it working without the damn sav file.

im on 9.2, 10.7 emunand on O3ds XL
and 10.7 on N3ds XL

any help with a 10.7 .sav (O3ds) or any way to get this working without it would be greatly appreaciated.

Collect and tell all the important information by yourself.

Oothax works, browserhax does not.

If you want also to downgrade, install a9lhax, etc, that is another story, you can follow the other directions in there.
But for using homebrew in 10.7, the information provided in the first page (and corresponding links) should be enough.

how should i go about doing that with SKY3DS?

Also, it may be the on provided there is an outdated payload that doesn't work on 10.7.
So if it still does not work try creating your save by doing this:

• Running the hax that works with your Cubic Ninja card to access homebrew.
• Switching your Cubic Ninja card by the Sky3DS.
• Follow the instructions here, specially:
  • Using sploit installer to install the exploit in the Sky3DS.

I hope that works, sorry I don't have a Sky3DS besides me so I can't give you a tested solution on a silver platter.
