Guys, I bricked my o3ds.
Updating via recovery mode as we speak..
So your one also updated to 9.0?Worked very well on my eurpean N3DS with FIrmware 10.3.
It's on 9.0.0-28E now (updated NVer again for eshop).
Step by step:Jeez, I must be an idiot. Isn't the sysupdater app on it, among other things? How can you downgrade with just an empty SD card?
Everytime i booted, with SD Card or not, I got "An error has occured. Please press and hold the power button..." I'm sure you know the error. Were you given any kind of error? If so, when?
Oh no. it all went fine. Said Rebooting in 10 seconds, then rebooted to error screen.@Jackus I'm referring to during the downgrade process. Not after it.
Alright, just to confirm.
I got 10.3, o3DS, USA. MenuHax is installed, IronHax is installed, BrowserHax was used to get into stuff. If I follow the directions in OP, using the .ttp files extracted, everything will work properly until reboot, which will be a black screen. At that point, I take out the SD card and start it up again, and it'll work?
I can understand everything up until the point regarding MenuHax. I see people saying to take out the SD card, but not specifying when. I've seen some people saying to take it out while it's downgrading, but wouldn't that fuck everything up because it's reading the .cia files off the SD card?

Just booted back into 10.3 now.
Step by step:
- Formatted the SD card
- Dropped the starter kit(root dir) and sysupdater(3ds dir) on it.
- dropped 9.2 into the updates folder in the root directory.
- Popped it into the 2ds and let it create its default files
- Opened the theme config to create those files as well
- Opened the camera and scanned the Browserhax QR code.
- Installed menuhax
- Rebooted with L back to the homebrew launcher
- Ran Sysupdater.
Code being pushed to github doesn't mean it's released. It means the devs working on the code made a change to the code that was worth saving. Pushing to github is the equivalent of hitting Ctrl-S in Microsoft Word. Would you consider every time an author saved a document in progress as an official release?Arrg, that was exactly what you didn't seem to understand...
Hold L+R+A+Up.I also have the same error. Rebooted into the error screen
