Yes it should, but you should use steveice10 sysupdater because the one released by tuxsh delete all the cias then start to install them, not a good idea...

The process was quick, i've got an eshop banned 3DS running 9.4 FW and menuhax 2.1 as entrypoint the only problem was that after reboot i got a black screen, but i just shut it down the console, remove the SD card, TA DA! 9.2 FW, thanks!

If you format and need to get ironhax back, just use browserhax as per usual. I can confirm it works as I wiped my own system an hour ago and have working ironhax again.

If it's not too late, I strongly suggest following instructions exactly for the highest chance of success. I don't think creating your own method is a safe idea.

I'll just wait for good emulators on 10.3 o3ds (main reason to get to 9.2 was to use GBA VC injection and play DSi titles, since I have sky3DS anyway).

Yes indeedy, or from browserhax install menuhax or oothax. Menuhax is fine for downgrading, you just need to remove it to boot after your downgrade.
