Might have been pushed back to the 21st, we'll wait and see.

Kinda annoyed that people keep doing these threads though when we all already know its out this week.

Having played it its pretty much the same as PC versions but with DS specific features like blowing out fires and flicking UFO's off the screen with the stylus.

You might wanna check out my release thread for some other details and other games due this week.

I just came to the site to check if it was dumped yet. Been waiting for wahile for it to come out.

They will have to make the maps different for the scenarios, the japanese one only had areas of japan that you could build on. The advisors will be tweaked a bit also.

Its based on 3000 version but a few say it plays more like 2000.

Yes confusing but I'd say its more 3000.

As long as it isn't a son of a bitch about making bridges and tunnels I'm in. The overkill level of attention and unncessary destruction just to get the bitchy system wanted level to do either was a colossal waste of time, money, and dead people blowing up crap to do...hated that so damn much.

Cant wait for it either but here are some of the things ive learned from watching some review videos on youtube.

1: It has single save slot, meaning you can only build 1 city at a time.
2: You have to start your game at the year 1900.
3: From what i remember the game only supports flat land ?

Still though, Sim City on your DS is

I tried SimCity 2000 on my PocketPC, and it was a pain in the ass drawing a straight line for roads and such with the stylus. I'm hoping this one isn't the same way.

1 saveslot isnt that bad. The Supercard DS One supprots 4 saves per game, I know the R4 has multiple saves(i think its aonly one though),N-Card has multiple saves. 1 saveslot isnt that bad

Simcity will be great for the ds.. but I tend to get a bit 'bored' with games like that eventually. Man would I kill to get an RTS game for the ds.. like warcraft1/2.. *drools on thread*

I'm waiting for this too. But it's not the only good release today! We should get two transformers games from the makers of the Tony Hawk games on DS!!! Finally some good FPS's on DS (well, I hope so...).

DSDoom is way better than the glitchy and buggy BIA DS.

Lol Doom is 50 years old and 2d sprites. For a game that has been ported to so many different systems it had better run smoothly.

Anyway BiA was an attempt to do something FRESH and push the system to the limits. All games have bugs but BiA was still a major achievement.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
