I see that many of you guys have a clear protector case for the DS.
I just bought one for the DSi and I had some trouble removing it without hurting my fingers. Is there any special trick to remove it fast and easily? I'd like to make some custom skins for my DSi and put it between the case and the system.

Remove it the top piece first, pull on the hinges away from each other so that it comes off of the one that attaches to the bottom

It does. I'm thinking of combining the outside of that with the inside of the XCM NDS Hyper Gear Lite, but it all looks very hard to do. I think I'll attempt it after I have my DSi.

It's a US DSi, what made you think it was Japanese or Eu? LOL. I just put a Hori case on it, it's not really noticeable

This is my complete evolution set.

PokePark Original DS, Red DS Lite (formerly Crimson/Black due to crack), and my brand new Blue US DSi. You can see the Pikachu silhouette on the Dark lue Original DS to prove it's the PokePark DS.

Nah, not with my color, it's shiny and looks great

And stays on!
I did not took apart my dsi when i dit it, just be careful, and use lots of masking tape
and paper to cover it.
