Another E3 competitor has appeared, primed to show new game announcements this June. New Game + Expo has just been announced, with companies such as Aksys Games, NIS America, Wayforward, SEGA, Spike Chunsoft, and more to be involved in the online showcase. The full list of participants seems to show that the event will have a focus on game translation reveals, with a majority of the companies being eastern developers or localization studios. New Game + Expo will kick off on June 23rd, at 8am PDT, on their newly established Twitch channel.

Enough Persona talk, its been 3 years since Atlus announced Shin Megami Tensei V for switch and there's been no real news let alone trailers since. or even 13 sentinels aegis rim, which they're publishing in the west, that's seen nothing but an announcement for a real long time.

    Might see P5S though

This doesn't necessarily fit with what seems to be what this event is going for but I sure hope the Yakuza Remastered collection gets a PC and Xbox One announcement

We all know Atlus cares more about the PS4/PS5 more than they do Switch :creep:

SMT V news hopefully. Atlus has no other major release aside from Hashino's new IP, but that's barely been in development.

This is very similar to the Nintendo Digital Events showcased at E3 when Iwata was in charge. The great thing about those was that they took a creative approach to revealing the games that they would be featuring at E3. For the sake of digital expos everywhere, let's take a look at those Digital Events to see how other companies can take a cue from Nintendo in making the presentations as entertaining as your favorite TV show.

    Nintendo Digital Event - E3 2014

In this video, the stop-motion animation is done by the same animators who bring to television viewers the Adult Swim cartoon Robot Chicken. We also get to see, after the initial introduction, an interesting battle between the late Nintendo HQ CEO Satoru Iwata, and the former Nintendo of America CEO -

Offscreen Announcer: Reggie Fills, uh... Fills, uh...
    Reggie: Fils-Amie. [pronounced FEES-uh-may]
    Announcer: If you say so.

Introduced in this Digital Event are the first amiibos, plus details about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Super Mario Maker, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and a teaser for a game which would come very late after this sneak preview, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

    Nintendo Digital Event - E3 2015

This one's a fun one to watch, because it features none other than Muppets! Well, puppets that were designed by the Jim Henson Creature Shop, anyway.

In this Digital Event, we learn about Star Fox Zero ("Do a barrel roll!"), Skylanders SuperChargers (and its exclusive amiibo), Fire Emblem Fates, two Animal Crossing spin-offs, YOKAI-WATCH, two Zelda-themed games, and Metroid Prime, among other games.

    Nintendo Direct - Pre E3 2012

This video shows Mr. Iwata describing some of the features of the Wii U. While not particularly entertaining to non-gamers, the segment that starts at 12:40 is hilarious, albeit somewhat gory since it displays gameplay of ZombiU.

I really hope Atlus gives us a release date for 13 Sentinels. I'm dying for more info, all they tweet about is Persona.
Maybe Grasshopper Manufacture tells us about the Flower Sun and Rain remake.
