An AES error right after footer.bin usually means failed decrypt due to incorrect movable.sed.
If pycrytodome wasn't installed there would be an import error right at the beginning.
I'll have proper decrypt verification in the next tadpole release.

Can someone explain this part to me a little...

NOTE: If your friend only has userland homebrew, they might have to use app takeover to get the required frd:u service, as *hax doesn't have it.
To takeover an app (almost any game will do), create seedstarter.xml in same directory as the .3dsx with <targets selectable="true"></targets> inside.

Download play, (what *hax takes over), doesn't have frd:u, so they have to do app takeover to get that service. Like a game or something. Usually the game they launched homebrew from will be enough.

This only applies to basic homebrew though. Most people that offer to help you will have cfw, and won't have to worry about doing tricks to getting the frd:u service. Luma adds access to all services by default.

You don't need to worry about friends service, you have homebrew.
(and honestly, if you can run soundhax, you shouldn't be using seedminer).

Like the readme says, "Choose ONE, A B or C"

If you intend on doing the friend exchange thing for others, I recommend B9Sing first so you won't have to worry about the takeover crap.
