I think this is a stupid question (cause it's sort of handled in the FAQ over at the other thread about this), but I'm at the TADpole part and I have no clue where I should get this ctcert.bin from.

Could anyone point me in the right direction please?

One we have the file and rename with out the patch .bin what if my dsps wate folder doesn’t have an ido folder ?

1. Put the movable_part1.sed on the SD Card of your 3DS in the "Nintendo 3DS" folder (sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/)
2. Copy all files from seedminer to the same folder (sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/)
3. Open CMD by pressing "SHIFT" and "Right Click" on a free space at sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/ It you are using Windows 10 Update 1703 or newer, you will hate the option to open a PowerShell for this folder. Then type "CMD" in the console, to open CMD. If you are using an older Version of Windows 10 or an older Windows, you will get the option to open an Aminconsole for this windows (adminconsole = CMD)
   
4. Type "seedminer_launcher.py ID0" in CMD (Pyton 2.7 is needed to be installed and during the install process, you need to set the checkbox for adding python to PATH)
5. ID0 will be aded to movable_part1.sed
6. Copy your new movable_part1.sed from your SD Card do your hard drive and start minin (movable.sed part)

Okay so I'm in the boot9strap tool and on the top screen it says "OLD 3DS 11.4".

However my firmware is 11.6.0-39e. I just assume this isn't a problem right?

That was a little bug in b9stool, it's supposed to say "Use with firm 11.4 - 11.6 ONLY"
It's fixed now but you can safely run the one you have.

I feel like an idiot but once again, I need help.

I followed the last steps of this guide (Section 3 Step 9 https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup). After launching the download play application I'm hit with the following error :

"An exception occurred
Processor: ARM11 (core1)
Exception type : prefetch abort (svcBreak)
Fault status: Debug event
Current process : loader (00000000000000)"

I have no clue what went wrong, since I followed the guide to a tee (except for maybe formatting the 3ds).
I have the crash dump if needed.

Once you have b9s it's best to go to the more general cfw threads like luma3ds main thread or 3ds noob paradise.
It's really not a seedminer issue anymore.

Hi guys. Looking to get my n3ds hacked through this method. I have the Sudoku game and all of the requirements. I need someone to dump LFCS whenever they don't mind doing so. My code is 4442-2724-1442 and I have added ZZ20. I have a crappy laptop, so it'll take days using the CPU method. That is fine as long as I am able to use it (homework assignments) and put it to sleep mode while it does it's slow magic.
