why the f*** does mame for wii need that 150mb file to run. windows mame32 i only like 20mb. WTF!!!!!!!!!. i have a igb sd card, but i barly have any room left! ugh......

samsam, you need to stop posting new topics in the Hacking forums just so you can compain about something you find stupid, or tell everyone else to make something for you. It's clogging up the forums and is unneeded.

Now if you wanted this to be a good topic you should have asked how to make the file smaller in a nice way.

Is there anyway to make the 150MB file smaller? The one for windows is only 20MB, is there a reason for the high filesize change?

MAME? Too large? Never

MAME takes their responsibility to eat up as much of your resources as possible quite seriously so don't hold your breath

I can't even bring myself to attempt running that one -- it would take 8 2 GB cards just to hold the ROM set (never mind the CHD issues).
