How do you convert a dumped nds file to cia?
I put my renamed Sonic.nds in the same folder and ran NDS to CIA but nothing happened. It only created an emty output-cia folder.

If the tool isn't working, just place the DSiWare .NDS file in the same folder as make_cia.exe and run make_cia --srl=Sonic.nds

This worked for me (albeit not with Sonic) and I gotta say, thank you for the tool! I have that archive of 804 DSi games/apps and I was honestly afraid I'd never be able to use them on my 3DS.

now that dsi have a kernel exploit, can dsiware be installed on dsi console in future or not? and i can convert cia files back to dsi bin again? or i need nds files?

dsiware will likely be able to be installed

and there's a pack of 804 DSiWare titles out there, so it's not hard to get them, don't bother trying to change a cia back into a dsiware file

dsi ware can be installed on dsi console with ugopwn. You don't need a "kernel exploit" for that. The DSi security is different from the 3ds security.

Saves are priceless because how much work and effort you put into them. My game that love was (Rytmik Cinemax) I have a lot of songs a made and there is no way to publish them :/
The wared thing is that no one has asked this question "What happens to your saves?"
From the original bin(DSiWare) I have heard that your saves are part of the .bin itself!(that is a bad way to set things up!) So when you convert it to .nds are your saves covered as well, or are they removed?

If so is there a way to remove the save from the bin?
what format is the save in?
how can you covert it to .nds or .cia formate?
what is HNB_.Ist is that the save?
