Emulation GBA saving issues with mgba

recently downloaded mgba with pokemon emerald and launched it. I saw this message and i closed it out thinking nothing of it. I played for a bit and then saved and closed mgba. When I launched the game again and saw the message again and thought nothing of it again and closed it. when the game started my game wasnt saved! I have no idea what the message is trying to say and how to fix it.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Seems like the drive used to run attempted to save but was write protected.
Make sure to verify this isn't the case, or try maybe a different location and see if this also happens.

figured out the problem. I made a games folder in the program files for it and once i launched it from the downloads folder and it worked
