Satellite TV: What's best for you,the viewer?

I know this is random and it's also a TV topic,so to make an interesting thread,so anybody can make commentary,i'll make this very good question.

What's the best satellite service that suits for you?

You can answer this very simple post,so this is open to vote and make comments with it.

Never heard of FTA, but I can vouch for the fact that Direct and Dish suck pretty damn equally.
They pretty much say anything to make you jump back and forth between the two companies and screw you every time you switch.
It seems like they're owned by the same people.

We got one in Germany, called Animax.

I got Dish Network mostly for the wife and son. I don't really watch much TV and the shows I do watch I end up just downloading and watching at my convenience. I only ever lost the satellite signal 2 times in 5 years and that was due to snow build up on the dish both times.

When I had Comcast years ago they used to have 2 anime channles on demand for free. They only changed up the shows on them every month but each one had around 15-30 different animes.

I voted Dish, I hate them when I used them for 2 years, but now that I'm using comcast, I missed the fuck out of Dish.
Comcast sucks. I'm only using them because they're my internet provider.
I'm gonna switch soon, not sure to what yet.

Comcast does suck big time.. every year rates go up sometimes twice a year. Since I've been with Dish my rate has only gone up once in 5 years and that was because the promotion I was on ended.

we had one in latin america.... it was called Animax. Now Sony changed the name to Sony Spin and airs old shit series that nobody watch.

You're right, but I've never heard of free-to-air satellite service.
Might be because I've never payed much attention to TV services unless a friend/family member needs me to fix their reception.

That's when every one had fucken huge dishes in thier back yards. Now they pay for alot of the same shit that at one time they were able to get for free. Gotta love it.
