For me n3ds with ultra, took 8s to boot into sysnand, and fully load after about 1-2s. (10s boot into emunand.)

Anyone has extreme pro or plus on your 3ds? Could you please post your bootup time for both sys and emu? Thanks!

I have a couple of the Sandisk Extreme Pro (64gb)

I am running on sysnand only

I get 7.3 seconds on Prelude (not public yet)
I get 7.6 seconds on Rei and the same with Mizuki

ok... thanks for sharing!!

Out of interest, what capacity is your card and what cluster size did you use when formatting it ?

I found changing the cluster size to 65536 (instead of default 32768) within GUI Format did knock off approx 1.5 seconds

on mine default comes up as 32768

Looking for a version number on it but can't find any drop down menu
sorry for bothering you. Do you know the I/O speed for 3ds and n3ds?
how many benefits I can get from switching sandisk ultra to extreme pro or plus?
my friend said his extreme plus allows game loading speed for digital version fast like fly:unsure:

the IO speed is slow the SDIO literally is having issues with larger cards boot times increase largely when you start going over 32gb+

the best option is to use UHS1 you literally wont hit any speeds higher than prob 10mb/s peak

Even cias will install at 2mb/s MAX

UHS-I U1 or U3? my friend said his extreme plus let the game loading faster than before.
Does that mean only write speed is around 10mb/s, read could be faster?

Honestly thats bullshit talk unless he went from like the original SD or a generic class 4 to a UHS1

Its even been tested on WiiU games loading from the SD that the load speed increase was like 1 seconds on a UHS1 vs a UHS3

If the 3DS is installing a CIA at 2mb/s Max then its also reading at 2mb/s to that 4mbs probably 5mbs Peak

Also the peak write i have gotten the 3DS to do via wireless is 3mb/s and 2.4ghz wireless G is capable of about 6.7mb/s transfer

anything over class 10 is overkill the 3ds's sd card slot is the limiting factor here not the sd card, the 3ds does not support uhs.
think about using that same sd card in a ¢99 card reader from china vs a name brand usb 3 card reader.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
