Hello everyone,
I recently bought a 64GB Samsung microSD Pro Endurance to fix my dying MLC under recommendations of the many threads of this group.
I received it without packaging, and worried that it could be fake, I ran Samsung Magician.
So good news, it tells me it is a genuine Samsung card.
Bad news ? It tells me it is an EVO Plus card, not a Pro Endurance.

Can any of you with the same card try the tool and tell me if it says Pro Endurance of EVO Plus?
I would really appreciate it.
I have 5 days left to return it.
Thanks a lot

The Samsung check can be faked.
https://github.com/GMMan/samsung-card-auth

Inspect the micro SD card itself for general low build quality fake Samsung micro SD cards have.

This can be: No white edges on the micro SD card; Not made in Korea (this may be wrong - I am basing this off of older cards); Low print quality (logo, text, colors), etc

Thank you @master801
I figured what it is. It is really a Samsung Evo Plus repainted
Looking at the side, I can see the red paint from the original Evo Plus
And the part number engraved under the card states MB-MC64H with is according to the Samsung website, the part number of the 64GB Evo Plus.
So I will try to get a refund,
If not, it is still a good SD for other purposes (put it in my phone, or use it as the front SD of the WiiU)

Interresting. In case you haven't returned it yet and still have some time and willpower left before needing to do this, could you maybe run https://3ds.hacks.guide/h2testw-(windows).html on it to see if there's more to the card than just a repaint?

Normally it's buy from trusted sources only, not from eBay, Amazon marketplace, Alibaba and stuff like that. Where did you purchase the repainted card from?

Thanks for sharing your experience. :)

//EDIT: Also in case you still have the card: Could you show us pictures of the top and the bottom, too, please?

Did they arrive in the original Samsung packaging? Do you have a picture of the packaging?

Also I would rather go with Endurance than Performance

I live in Taiwan, I bought it on Momo and the same listing can be found on PcHome which are the 2 biggest online retailers in the country. They are not marketplaces. The listing states "Industrial packaging" and "Parallel imports".
I was suspicious but curious to try.
I will have a refund, Taiwan is strict about counterfeit products.
And it is Endurance, not Performance; but I can't edit the title.

H2testw is fine. It is really a 64GB.

As I explained, I bought from a reliable source. I think they are getting tricked by a supplier.
As you can see, the original colors and layer lines show under the white paint.
The weirdest part to me is if you are making a fake, why even using a Samsung card in the first place. Just go for a no-name card.
That is why I think the supplier is at fault, not the retailer. He probably sells legit Samsung cards, and got too many Evo Plus, so he rebranded them Pro Endurance to increase the retail price by 50%.
On Alibaba, they would just have used no-name 8GB cards with a coat of paint.
If they refund me while letting me keep this one, I will try to remove the paint to see what is under.
And if they decline the refund, then I will do it too to show them.
For now I shared the pictures I shared here earlier.
