Hacking Safe to use wifi with an acekard 2i

is it safe to use an ACekard 2i with an DSI, can nintendo block my card i so use it anymore ???

Just update your card from time to time and you'll be safe from most of these issues that pop-up.

DSI can be updated, DSL can't.. which make it safer

What do you mean by update... Firmware... they haven't releashed one in ages...

No matter, I NEVER go online with my DS Lite anyway. N.E.V.E.R.

Not that it matters, I live in the sticks and there aren't many places where I even could...but, all the same, I long ago decided it wasn't worth the risk.

Nintendo can't do that because proliferation of malicious code in even their own console is illegal.

Clarification:
It's malicious to freeze a console without a single warning that playing a backup online will do it.
It's not malicious to update a system menu to disable the use of software not approved by the company, when warnings are given that it may end your consoles life.

TRied it today.. an it worked.. but after using it, my card it's starting to not get loaded...and sometimes frezes it

Honestly there are so many of these topics of card X not working, not showing up (minus the DSi 1.4 firmware problem), freezing the DS, etc. that someone really needs to put up a sticky telling people to:

Clean the contacts of the card with rubbing alcohol
Put a piece (or 2 or 3) of tape on the label side to make better contact with the DS pins
Clean the microSD card's pins with rubbing alcohol
Format the microSD and put a clean copy of the loader on it

Many times the tape trick works wonders (as it does with my AKRPGs, EZV).
