I don't think I've actually played a DS game where I have cried although I do agree that the Elite Beat Agents level with the little girl is sad (where's the sequel that is so desperately needed?), and I was more shocked than sad with the original Phoenix Wright at the beginning of case 2.

On a less serious note, Animal Crossing.
Why won't you leave me alone Tom Nook? You buy my house, I pay my debt after crying at the amount I owe and then you convince me to upgrade to a better home. And it doesn't help that if I forget to save that a mole raises his voice at me.

Doki Majo Plus and games like it

It's sad because it was made and is sad that people like to play it, you know who you are.
*cough*

You're right about it though, too many pervs in this world...

So wrong yet, so right!

Wait, FFCC Ring of Fate was sad? The only sad part was that the kids would have to relive their childhood all over but at least they all got reunited

the first 3 Final Fantasy were for the nes and they were never been localized in US on that time... so when they traduced FF4,5 and 6 they got the names of FF1,2 and 3
so FF3 for the snes is actually FF6, not to be confused about FF 3 of the nes which was never traduced until the DS remake

I have to say Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box was really sad. But the game I had tears from was FF:CC: Ring of Fate. There was one really sad sequence...

Correction. The only sad part was Square's choice in it's wifi features.

Shiren the Wanderer gets pretty sad... after a monster offhandedly flicks your +50 fully-modded Katana into oblivion that you just finished today. :'(

heh, seriously though, Ouendan's track "Over the Distance", and EBA's "You're the Inspiration" got me sniffing. i guess the whole story and the track were put to great effect there...

Valkyrie Profile.

Also The world ends with You, why?
SPOILER INSIDE.
Because Neku made Joshua dead.
Also, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor was kinda sad at times.
