Sad story? FF4. I know, technically it's just a remake, but it still has quite a sad story. Otherwise I would say Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates. For the rest there's really not a lot of sadness on the DS. Try playing more GBA games and you'll cry a river.
