You doing it wrong just think like how you use cheat engine but with abit more extra step
First find your lumber in game so if you have 150 convert them to hex that mean = 96 so you put 0096 to search
after first search then do something to make the number 150 change like add more lumber to be 151 = 97 hex edit then search for 0097 again you will find the right address 100% just use the first address in search result
if you want to max lumber ignore the 2 value you see in the list just change the third one from 00 to ff it will max instantly
OP can you show an example with a working code for item cheat? i try but it just not working the first slot just blank and nothing show up but can't put anything there too
It's misssing the quantity of the item. Index 03a5 + [quantity]<<11. So, for 9 10 fold steel, just replace the "03A50009" with "00004ba5". The code would be:
Also I can nearly 100% confirm some info about the JP version cheat file here after testing all the cheats out for a while now. https://gbatemp.net/download/rune-factory-4-special-jap-cheat-file.36044/
HP energy unlimited= Only makes HP bar -appear- to be max but HP still goes down, seems it's just for appearance sake...
RP energy unlimited= Only makes RP bar -appear- to be max but RP still goes down, seems it's just for appearance sake...
Skills MAX= It does NOT max out your skills, It only gives you max prince points (Basically a max prince points code)
Money MAX= This does exactly what it says.
sir what is [quantity]<<11 really imply? im assuming since it was intended for 9 fold steel, [quantity]<<11 would be 9.
so what i do is 03a5 + 9 in calculator but i got 3AE? not 4ba5 . im i doing anything wrong sir

"<< "is Left Shift operator, so in a programmer's calculator, place the quantity (let's say 5) and use lsh 11. result will be 0x2800. Add that to, let's say Turnip seeds ID (0x02f1) and you got 0x2af1, 5 turnip seeds.
Also, I think I fixed the atmosphere crash problem by changing the file encoding to UTF-8. Atmosphere users, let me know if that fixed things.
I managed to find the current HP and current RP pointers, so I made codes with those. Also, thanks to the Japanese cheats, managed to find the time of day, and created a timeFreeze code for 12, 18 and 21 (18 is afternoon, 21 is start of night) and a Trigger code (L+R) to set the time to 7:59, so things will be shipped a second after.
Money, lumber and Stone are all together in Base, and I can't find a pointer to it from main, like the japanese codes did. But the location in Base seems to be always XXXd6e18 for money, and + 4 for each of the others, so if you can cheat search, the correct address should be finished in d6e18.
For SXOs users (edizon might also have this feature), you can jump to the item address directly with the RAM Editor "jump to address" (+ button) and selecting "Heap + 0x2dda399c". For items you only want one off (like a piece of equipment with specific upgrade items) inputting it manually might be easier than to build a code and upload it to the card.
Just a reminder that Switch is LE, so 0x01020304 becomes "04 03 02 01" in the editor.
Now that we have money, lumber, stone, points and items handled..has anyone tried looking EXP, skills or friendship stuff? Those are the other staple codes of RF games.

Thanks for the explanation unfortunately I'm a noob so I'm not sure how exactly to do it. I tried using a calculator I searched online but the results seems wrong. I could be using it incorrectly. Can you tell me how I can do it with this? https://calc.penjee.com/
So I got up to 150 lumber in game, just like you had in your original post. I cheat searched for exact value, and input 0096, the hex value of 150, and still got 3000+ results! I must be doing something else wrong here.
Edit: I searched "Unsigned 16 bit"
Edit 2: Nevermind! Gusady4192 on the cheat general thread was kind enough to provide a whole list of already working cheats!
