RUMOR- Tales of Graces Wii coming to US early 2011

I definitely agree on the failed adverts. I've never seen a Tales commercial and i can't think of any magazine ads offhand for the series (there may have been some, but i can't remember any). The first time i ever even HEARD of the series was back in 2003 or so when i was first discovering emulators. I was trying to find some good SNES RPG's and i found Tales of Phantasia as a popular one. That's literally how i knew about the series. Besides that, i think Symphonia on Gamecube has received the most press, and THAT was mostly due to all the glowing reviews it got. Word of mouth advertised that one.

I *think* I remember seeing a magazine ad for Tales of Symphonia, but that was only once (and the only one I've seen advertised). Suppose it goes with what you're saying about it having the most press.

There WAS a magazine add for Tales of Symphonia. But it wasn't Bamco doing it. It was Nintendo. That's the whole reason why it got so popular.

1) A fan translation being done and
2) Rumors of an official translation.

I've long accepted that Namco hates everyone outside of Japan and will pretty much never localize a tales game, this rumor won't change my mind because i know that namco won't localize it, I've long accepted it, you guys must eventually accept it too.

Namco is a very Japan only company sadly. We don't see nearly enough Tales games get an English release.
