    Source.

Well, it's not really a source but just Google it and you'll find rumors.
    It can't be true! [IMG]

He's the reason I was kept entertained today morning..
A moment of silence for those who are gone as a result of the tsunami..
Japan cannot handle any more destruction.

"Thanks for your concern! During the earthquake no one at Nintendo in Japan was injured and there was no apparent structural damage."

Let's hope Pokemon will live a long life. A decade and a half certainly isn't good for a video-game franchise. [IMG]
Anyways, this news is about the man and I'm still having a hard time believing it.
    The poor guy.

EDIT: 1stkirbyever: I'd like to point out that the creator of Pokemon is not a main worker at Nintendo..

As much as Pokemon sucks now, I hope this isn't true. Pokemon was a big part of my life as a child.

No confirmation of anything like that from Wikipedia, so that's a good sign.
But I still wouldn't be too sure.

Game Freak (IIRC) isn't a part of Nintendo.

Correct. They are a second party company. But I still reckon they would consider themselves under the "Nintendo family" if this type of event.

I'm sceptical. Black and White were just released. Pokémon is fresh on people's minds. The most juicy rumour someone could think up related to the quake is pretty much, therefore, the creator of Pokémon dying.

As someone has already pointed out, Satoshi Tajiri works for Gamefreak not Nintendo.
