I'm using Kazo's translation + Rudolph patch. It works great, except whenever I try to access the Pokegear, it all ways freezes. Anyone else experience this? I'm on SS on an M3 DS Real.

try http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=178908&st=0 that code. i'm not sure if it helps, but i'm using the same thing as you and i don't have the problem only difference is i have that code on.

i also used this patch (or i think i used it, its in japanese so) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R6WFFWNJ

I make a urscheat.dat with

020DD9E4 E1A00000
020D3820 E1A00000

Wait a moment and I'll upload you the *.dat
the GAMEID changes depending on what patches you used though. so i'm not sure if it'd help.

i have a file called CHEAT.bat, is the urscheat.bat supposed to replace that file? should i rename it? or will the system still read it

I only know about .dat not ".bat", if you have R4 DS only replace the file, if doesn't exist put it in the _system_ folder
--EDIT--
I was playing 1:39 hours with Rudolph patch+English v1 without blackscreens&freezes

sorry i meant .dat!
wacko.gif

so far it seems to be working...

im trying it now
it didnt freeze but nothing s english i didnt do anything wrong
i used the original rom that i patched
Edit : with atleast one hour of play it didnt freeze with my dstt

in the readme file it says Don't use this patch to the ROM file that was downloaded from Internet.
that's means illegal roms?

Yeah, maby someone can make a simple patch one day. I'm to bored to find out how to use this, but great job on the patch.

So far, so good! I've been playing SS for 1.5 hours now with no black screens or lock-ups! Now I just need to see if it will run for 6 hours straight on my day off, tomorrow.
