I've been pleased with my 3DS so far apart from some connection issues until today. One of the two rubber feet on the bottom fell off and I have no idea what it went. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

If you don't know what it is, it's the little bump thing near the L and R buttons that stops the 3DS from sliding along slippery surfaces.

mine are fine, maybe you just treat your 3ds like shit?

wouldnt have even known that was there. good luck finding it though because those are tiny

Don't blame the build quality, base on your treatment of the 3DS. :/

How did they even fall off?

What would you do with them when you find them?

I wouldn't necessarily say that this is the OP's fault.
It could be an issue that will arise in time for other users 3DS's.
Or it could be a one-off fault.
Or, of course, it could be the OP's fault.

In any case, the OP shouldn't bother Nintendo with it, yet.
Wait until another problem comes up, then send it to Nintendo, and solve 2 issues at once.

I don't know how similar the 3DS rubber feet are to the ones on the DS lite, but if it is similar, I too have to ask...how the hell did they come off?

Same. Took me a good 5 minutes with a knife to get those feet off a DS Lite

Probably to replace the casing or one of the screens.

Both, actually.

If you guys look at my 3DS, you'll see it's in perfect condition. You won't see any scratches unless you're looking under a microscope. All I've been doing it keeping it in my pocket when not in use.

Really, that shouldnt be that bad for your 3ds.

As said before, just forget about it for now. If something else also goes wrong you can get a replacement (and you'll have a spare rubber footing

)

Anyways, That's a shame. I noticed the 3DS ones are a little more protruding than the DS Lite ones, so I guess it's plausable it could be "caught" on something to come off.

For the record DS Lite ones are pretty tough, but I have seem them come off through normal usage (DSi ones too).

Pry the other one off to match It or find the missing one or one like It and super glue It back on. I admit the 3DS has some build issues but seriously, a rubber foot....

Ridiculous complaint.

@altorn, you may not make one word posts, that is against the rules guy!
