Ever since I got homebrew installed onto my DSi, I've wondered if a Rockbox port would be possible. I was reminded of it after seeing a post in DS(i) Noob Paradise.

Rockbox supports many sound formats, is very customizable, and is made for devices that only have a small amount of processing power, being MP3 players.

(I'm not asking anyone to "port this plz" but I'd just like to know if this would theoretically be possible, natively :))

Rockbox was fantastic! I had it on an old archos jukebox. I replaced the 30gb hdd with a 160gb. So much music. That thing was pretty crappy without rockbox. Would look great on a dsi! I’m sure there would be problems with closing the dsi and keeping playback. You’d have to open the dsi to change tracks on the dpad, or whichever button (L and R are too exposed) you have.
